There are many type of procedure that can help you to get a baby. That is IVF or test tube baby procedure you can follow and have you dreams of having a baby fulfilled. These days due to increased level of stress, often women fail to conceive. Many reason behind this infertility. And after IVF exist, it will rescue in such circumstances.

One thing you should be remember that IVF should not be done unless you have tried all the possible ways to conceive. Also you mus tbe remember you need more than on year to try to conceive. In the one year period,  after trying all possible methods for a year you are unable to conceive a child naturally then you can opt for IVF. The basic things about IVF are the procedure and the possible consequences. the procedure and the possible consequences. IVF is the procedure  that uniting of egg and sperm in vitro (in the lab). Then,  the embryos are transmitted into the uterus through the cervix and pregnancy takes place.

The IVF procedure has a four steps. First is called  ovary stimulation. By giving  injections to produce multiple eggs, the ovary is stimulated. For women,  a few medications or injections is given for her so that the one can control the timing of the cycle and stimulate the development of multiple eggs. The patient is asked to take an extra medication after the doctor is satisfied with the growth of the cycle and the quantity of follicles. All this to make sure  that the eggs will mature on time for the retrieval.

Second is egg retrieval. It is performed when the patient is given anesthesia. The doctor puts in a needle through the vagina and into the ovaries by using ultrasound monitors. The doctor then takes back the needle to take out the eggs from the follicles. After the procedure the patient is left to recover.

For the third stage, is called as fertilization and incubation. An embryologist gets the eggs and sperm from the partner or a donor ready after the eggs have been taken out. In the laboratory, the eggs and sperm are mixed to help fertilization. After the eggs going fertilization, the eggs are kept into incubation period for some days.

And the last stage, from the incubation process, it is transfer of the embryo.  The embryologist chooses the best ones to transfer into the woman’s uterus.  The doctor and the patient settle on the amount of embryos to transfer depends from person to person. From the opening(cervix), a small sized catheter is passed directly into the uterus to slide embryo into it. In the uterus, the  embryo is left to develop. In addition,to increase the chances of becoming pregnant, the doctor will suggest some hormonal therapy for that patient.
